Concept: 3.5 million years in the future, Earth will be undergoing its fifth ice age. Lifeforms on Earth will have to adapt to survive the harsh conditions, and humans will be no exception. The human respiratory system will undergo dramatic changes to allow for humans to survive underwater. In terms of physical changes, the entire skull will arise from the flesh and become an exoskeleton, and the nose will be further depressed.
